WHY MURALS?

There's something wildly satisfying when given such a large canvas to play with. I like to attribute my background in dance for the joy of being able to use my whole body to paint. It's one thing to see an idea on a sheet or paper or inside an iPad, it's another to see it come to life on a giant wall.

Murals have a the ability to transform any given space and environment and possess a level of impact that traditional canvas paintings or prints don't quite provide.

I completed this mural at Tempe Youth Library in June, and it was such a great experience to paint a 32 foot long wall. In many ways I got to stretch my imagination. It's currently open to the public, so if you happen to be in the area, go check it out HERE
